In the beginning, there was Nolan Bushnell and Atari, an American video game manufacturer that received widespread success in the late 1970s and 1980s. Then Atari fell victim to changing times, poor management, and mediocre sales, and Japanese game companies Nintendo, Sega, and Sony dominated the console video game industry for the better part of twenty years. In the early 2000s, Microsoft released its game console, the Xbox, becoming the first American company in decades to brave the fierce competition of the games industry. Microsoft had pioneered technology with their Windows software designed for computers, and now turned their gaze towards games with the goal of industry domination. Though the Xbox remained competitive, the project continued to lose money with Japanese industry giants Nintendo and Sony still a dominant force.
Although it has been around for a while, the Xbox 360 still competes with the newest Nintendo and Sony systems. If your machine is experiencing some hiccups, there is no need to invest in a new one, simply get some Xbox 360 repair.
